September 2018:
SkyBaron was founded as a collaborative marketplace and platform for the creation of carbon products. Through our partnerships, we created supply chains that produced some of the first-ever consumer products made with captured carbon. We also worked with Parley and the University of Michigan on the development of carbon products and carbontech education.
January 2026:
SkyBaron relaunches as an alliance and funding mechanism for the growth and success of the carbon utilization space. This marks a pivot away from focusing on smaller-scale, boutique, consumer products, towards a large-scale approach with a focus on systems and our broader economy.

James A.G. Kahn, Founder & Principal
James has been in the carbon space since 2016 - with time spent at Deloitte and obtaining an MA in Climate & Society from Columbia University’s Climate School in ‘22.
